Professional Services Terms

1. You warrant you are qualified

By declaring a professional role you represent and warrant that you are legally allowed to offer that service and that you hold the training, qualifications, certifications, licences, insurance and any authorisations that the law of your country or region requires for that activity.

You agree to keep those requirements up to date for as long as the role is shown on your profile, and to remove the role if you no longer meet them.

2. Snifr. does not verify or endorse

The professional role is self-declared. Snifr. does not check, certify, endorse or guarantee your qualifications, experience or the quality or safety of any service you provide. A professional badge on Snifr. is not an accreditation issued by Snifr. and must not be presented as one.

3. You act on your own account

Any service you agree to provide to another user is a direct relationship between you and that user. Snifr. is only a platform that helps people find and contact each other; Snifr. is not a party to your agreement, does not employ you, does not supervise the service and receives no payment for it.

You are solely responsible for arranging, pricing, invoicing, taxing and delivering your services in compliance with the law.

4. Release of liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Snifr. and its operator from any claim, loss, damage, injury (to people or animals), cost or expense arising out of or connected with the professional services you offer, agree to or perform through contacts made on Snifr.

You agree to indemnify and hold Snifr. harmless against any third-party claim brought against Snifr. that arises from those services or from a breach of these terms.

5. Your responsibility to others

You are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the animals and people in your care during your services, and for holding any liability insurance appropriate to the activity. You must act ethically, respect animal-welfare law and not present yourself as more qualified than you are.

6. False declarations

If we have reason to believe a declaration is false, or that a service caused harm, we may remove the professional role, suspend or close your account and, where appropriate, cooperate with the competent authorities.
